Terms of Service

The deal, in plain words.

Version 2026-11-01 · Effective [[EFFECTIVE_DATE]]

  • You must be invited and at least 18.
  • Serendai suggests; you decide. It can be wrong, so check details before you go, and stay safe.
  • What you write stays yours. You let us process it to run Serendai, as the Privacy Policy explains.
  • Serendai is free during this preview. You can delete your account at any time.

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and [[LEGAL_ENTITY]](“we”, “us”) about your use of the Serendai app. When you ask for a sign-in link, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Serendai.

Who can use Serendai

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Serendai is an invitation-only preview. An invite belongs to the one email address it was issued for.
  • One person per account. Anyone who can read your email can sign in as you, so keep your email account secure.

What Serendai does, and what it doesn't

Serendai uses AI and outside data (maps, places, events, weather) to suggest small things to do, scan for openings around you, and build plans. Suggestions can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Places close, events change, and routes and times shift, so check before you rely on them.

Serendai doesn't book, buy, text or email anyone, or change your calendar for you. It can prepare things for you to use if you choose, such as a draft text that opens in your messaging app, a calendar file, or a link.

Serendai isn't medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice, and it isn't a crisis service. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. In the US you can also call or text 988.

Your choices and your safety

You decide what to do. Use your judgment, follow the law and the rules of the places you visit, and don't do anything unsafe or unwanted because Serendai suggested it.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you write and upload. You give us permission to store and process it, including sending it to our service providers, only to provide Serendai to you and keep it secure, as described in the Privacy Policy. Only add content you have the right to share. When you mention other people, be thoughtful about what you include.

Sharing

A share link shows the card you chose to anyone who has the link, until it expires (after 7 days at most) or you revoke it. You decide who gets it.

Acceptable use

  • Don't break the law or use Serendai to harass, threaten, or harm anyone.
  • Don't try to access other people's data, or get around security, invitations, or limits.
  • Don't overload, scrape, or automate access to Serendai.
  • Don't use Serendai to create illegal content or content that exploits anyone.
  • Don't resell Serendai or pretend to be someone else.

A preview service

Serendai is in a private preview. Features may change, pause, or stop. We may suspend or end your access, for example if you break these terms or we end the preview.

Fees

Serendai is free during this preview. If we offer paid plans, we'll show the price, billing period, renewal, and cancellation terms before you pay, and Stripe will process the payment.

Ending your account

You can stop using Serendai at any time and delete your account from Account. The Privacy Policy explains what deletion removes and what can remain.

Disclaimers

Serendai is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that Serendai will be accurate, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, [[LEGAL_ENTITY]]isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim about Serendai is limited to the amount you paid us for Serendai in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [[GOVERNING_LAW]], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts located there, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

Changes

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update the version and date above. Before you can keep using Serendai, you'll be asked to accept the new version by signing in again with an email link. You can still delete your account without accepting it.
